My Critical Components
Play Based Learning
It's important as a teacher to encorporate play-based learning in the classroom for better environment
This can connect to the cross curricular competencies which have many positive outcomes
Trauma responsive strategies, safe spaces, emotion charts
Sharing circles, sens of belonging, attention redirection, collaboration stations
Yoga with song, stretches after lunch, connecting with nature (Walks)
Story-times, morning affirmations, visual aids and intructions
Holistic Views
“Holistic education fosters this awareness in ourselves and in students. We see the relationship between the physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of life.” (Miller. 2019. p. 8).
I personally want to follow the holistic view of teaching
I want to bring taching into my classroom where students are emtionally and intellectually conncected with the evironment around them. (Physically and mentally)
Equity Teachings
“An equity pedagogy exists when teachers use techniques and methods that facilitate the academic achievement of students from diverse racial, ethnic, and social-class groups” (Banks, 1993, p.9).
It's important to recognize other cultures within the classroom
As a future educator, it is important to incoporate different views from different parts of the world within the classroom

I feel it is important but not nessasry. If students are giving the nessasry equipment to broaden their knolwedge and it can help them keep up with new expiriences
Hands on learning
Students who participate in active hands on learning could help face issues that could come up in their future.
