Should l turn on the subtitles?

Only English subtitles

After reaching a solid, free Intermediate (B1) or initial Upper-Intermediate (B2), watch movies with English subtitles to learn the language, start immersing yourself in English and give up your native language while watching a movie. Try not to read anymore, but use subtitles as help in incomprehensible situations where most words are unfamiliar.

It is better to watch Ukrainian subtitles when you are well acquainted with basic grammar and spelling. Having already learned to determine the spelling of a word by sounds, a student can easily find it in a dictionary and study it.
