General translation

Concept

It refers to the translation of documents and materials that do not belong to any typer or specific domain area.

It doesn't not imply a specific translation process, the use of
the equipment such as ordinary computers and word
processing are part of this.

Literary translation

It is the translation of any kind of fictional work, including
prose narratives, drama and poetry.

Technical translation

It is a specialisation in its own right, it covers the translation
of any material material belonging to a particular area of
knowledge, technical field or technology.

Example

Mechanical engineering, hydraulic, electrical engineering etc.

Commercial translation

This covers all types of commercial documentation, such as
invoice, contracts.,transport documentation etc.

Its field of expertise generally extends to financial and legal
matter.

Financial translation

Encompasses any kind of financial documentation company
reports, financial deals, contracts, stocks market information,
baking documents and fiscal information.

Related to the areas of finance, banking, transactions and
economic activity in general.

Legal translation

Covers all legal or legally bidding documents such as laws,
standing order, regulations or contracts.

Biomedical and pharmaceutical translation

This area of translation includes all kind of documents relating to medicine and pharmaceutical products.

Research documentation, experimentation reports, analyses,
test results, drug authorisation request, treatment protocols.

Encompasses scientists research papers, these,monographs,
and various symposia and reference presentations, in short,
deemed to contribute to the advancement of science.
