rWhat I believe I can contribute to the Centre is to help guide our message. The different ways which we can express the issues, the needs, God's heart -they are so numerous, I believe there is a danger that we could become a clanging gong among many, instead of a calm, direct and loving voice calling our audience to action. When I consider our team, it's inevitable growth, and the way that we work together, I don't see a way to keep our message, whether publications, printed materials, or our website, focused and in line with who we are, unless we were to have an editor directly responsibile for that task.I don't know if any of us has the experience for this position except forperhaps you, Janna. However, rather than you reviewing each piece we create, it may be better to have someone else whom you could direct, who then could carry the job of keeping this voice in line.I don't believe I have the experience for this, though I may have some qualifications. Olivia is likely more qualified as an editor, so that is also a consideration if she is interested and sees the need. I also like the idea of us working on it together, with one of us running point. So, if I were to take it, I would heavily rely on her input.A big reason this job seem to fit my role is that the web will be a big part of our communication, and we recognize the need for consistency with the web and our other publications. We will all be writing, of course, but unless one of us reviews and guides, I see potential problems. What I am not asking for is carte blanche to do as I wish, but to help the development of our voice, through your input and frequent communication with others, so that we have some cohesion and focus.
