Solar Energy
The current issue is: Cost of solar energy
People who work jobs that can't fund or maintain luxuries such as solar panels.
Solar energy is not affordable for everyone.
2021
People are not able to get jobs that can support having and maintaining solar energy
Ontario, Canada
Not many people are educated or know much about solar energy.
Solar energy is a much better alternative rather than fossil fuels and Canada would be a much more " green" or environmentally friendly country. It would also mean less demand for fossil fuels. Fossil fuels are more expensive than solar energy and they are non-renewable meaning they are not as reliable.
A switch to solar energy world wide would be revolutionary for the human race and the planet because it would drastically decline the demand for fossil fuels which are expensive. It would be revolutionary because wars for fossil fuels would end, climate change would slowly start to decline and animals in the arctic would be in less danger or risk of extinction.
Solar energy is expensive and out of reach for the majority of the world's population. The majority of people do not have the financial means to invest in luxuries such as solar energy. In Canada, the average annual wage is roughly $68000. Taxes total about $16,000. This gives the individual with $52,000 to spend on both necessities and desires. The average solar panel in Canada costs around $2800 per year. Another $1300 is required for installation. Solar energy is very efficient, but it comes at a cost. One that not everyone can afford.
Solar power is the conversion of solar energy to thermal or electrical energy. Solar energy is the most environmentally friendly and prolific renewable energy source today, and the United States possesses some of the world's most abundant solar resources. Solar technology may be used to generate power, provide light or a warm indoor atmosphere, and heat water for household, commercial, or industrial purposes.
Life on Earth is based on the energy inherent in sunshine. Humans may use it to create energy for our activities without polluting the environment. There are a variety of ways to transform solar energy into more usable types of energy like heat or electricity. The methods we employ to convert solar energy have a little environmental impact. However, they all have drawbacks that have prevented them from becoming extensively used.
Solar energy is renewable because it is derived from the sun, which is a free, clean, and steady source of energy that has been providing energy for billions of years. However, it's difficult to overlook the fact that this renewable energy source uses non-renewable resources to some level.
