Direct Instruction

Is a teacher-centered model in which students learn from presentations or demonstrations by the teacher.

Materials: It includes human voice, telephonic conversation, audio discs/tapes, gramophone records, Radio broadcast.

Kinesthetic Learning

Is based on the idea of multiple intelligences, requiring students to do, make, or create.

Materials: Hands-on experiences like drawing, role-play, building, and sports

Expeditionary Learning

Is a form of project-based learning in which students go on expeditions and engage in in-depth study of topics that impact their schools and communities.

Materials: Implementation of projects. It's the hands-on work and getting out into the community is the purpose of this methodology.

Conclusions: Teaching models creates teaching-learning environment in wich teachers teach more effectively, by making the teaching act more systematic and efficient. When we use differents teaching models we can create a meaningful teaching-learning atmosphere where learners become active constructors of their own knowledge.
