Thesis: When analyzing the novel The Book of Negroes by Lawrence Hill from a feminist literary theory perspective, it becomes clear that women are mistreated and used for slavery. Aminata’s character displays characteristics to the readers and shows that women have the power and strength to overcome any obstacle.
