The students will be graded according to a sixth grade narrative writing rubric.

Standard:
6.SL.5 Include multimedia components (e.g., graphics, images, music, sound) and visual displays in presentations to clarify information.

Objective:
The students will create a character based on a photo analysis to use in their narrative writing, scoring at least a 3/4 on the rubric.

Prior Knowledge:

Activity:
The students will create a Holocaust character identification card using a given photo. The identification card will include a name, birth date, age, address, and ID number.

Assessment:
The students ID card will be graded according to a rubric
