How did the government react? Cholera

In the early 1830s, cholera emerged as a deadly and rapid disease, instilling widespread fear and necessitating immediate action from authorities. The government responded by passing the Temporary Cholera Acts in 1832 and setting up a temporary Board of Health based on recommendations from medical experts.
