Treatments

For Moderate and Severe

Monitor ECG

Treat any arrhythmias

Intubate and ventilate

Severe Respiratory Distress or Apnoea

Diazepam

Repeat as required

Pediatric 1-5mg IV

Adult 5-10mg IV

Pralidoxime

Infuse 8-10mg/kg/hr

Adult 30 mg/kg IV over 4 mins

Give Atropine ASAP

Pediatric 20 mcg/kg IV

Adult Dose 0.6-4.0 mg IV

Establish IV access

For Mild Symptoms

0.5% tropicamide eye drops

Consider Atropine 0.6-4mg IV

Wash down

Remove Clothing

Maintain Airway

Severe OPP

Death

Coma

Collapse, respiratory depression or arrest

Cardiac arrhythmias

Copious excess secretions

Conculsions

Confusion and agitation

Pinpoint pupils

Moderate OPP

Vomiting, diarrhoea, urination

Difficulty breathing

Drooling, excess phlegm, bronchorrhoea, bronchospams

Coughing, wheezing, sneezing

Dizziness, disorientation

Pinpoint pupils, conjunctival injection

Mild Acute Poisoning (Sheep dip flu)

Mild muscle weakness

Nausea

Headache

Excess saliva

Runny nose and eyes

Painful. blurred vison

Small or pinpoint pupils
