Instructional Objective; Students will construct an explanation about how DNA determines the structure of a protein through evidence.

Assessment; Students will fill out Cycle of argumentation and identify their questions, claim, evidence, resources, and big ideas. Students will take the cycle of argumentation and put together a short presentation on their claim.

Student Activity; Contruct an argumentation based on their claims, evidence, resources, and questions. Students will give an explantation and providing evidence to support their claim.

Teacher Activity; Provide resources to the students and guide them through their evidence and explanations of their claims.

Instructional Objective; Students will demonstrate the role of cell division specifically mitosis by presenting findings through investigation and by using technology.

Assessment; Students will write all their questions on their graphic organizer. Student will identify the case study hypothesis, predictions, testing/checking, and explanation.

Student Activities; Carry out an investigation on case study and identify the hypothesis, predictions, testing/checking, and give an explanation.

Teacher Activities; Give a case study and guide students through how to carry out at investigation with the help of their graphic organizer.
