The idea of yin-yang comes from Taoism.They
believed that everything in nature has 2 balances
called yin and yang.These forces can be thought
as light and dark,cold and hot.Taoisma was found
during the Zhao Dynasty,in the 6th century by
Lao-Tzu

paintings and carvings where added to architecture
to make it beautiful and attractive.Ancient chinese
buildings have a long history which can be traced back
to the Shang Danasty.It has its own principle and layout.
somwtimes they draw on the walls in a cave!

The Ancient clothing are mostly of robes.While the
women wore lengthy tunics that reach the ground,
the men wore robes that reach there knees.
The original ancient clothing are reffered as the
Han chines clothing.The robe was worn a lot and
very popular, they still wear them now!

China provides some of the earliest traces of music making
.These are mainly in the form of well-preserved musical instraments.Knownledge of ancient china is limited to pottery, brinze,bone, and jade.They made there art with
all sorts of materials, one thing they used was plants.

ancient china's festivals are an important part of there
history and culture.A close relationship exists between
many of the traditinal festivals between mathematics,
the chinese calander ect.The last day of spring is an
important holiday.....The day of the lantern! Anouther
holiday is the moon festival!

The Chinese writing system is an unique phenomenon in the modern world of alphabet scripts. Instead of a few dozen letters, it has developed thousands of complex signs or "characters" that represent morphemes and words. Instead of words they used pictures like a bird on a pole or something.A picture can be send as 2 letters.

In china people had many jobs some of them were farming,mining,fishing,arts and craft, business, and finally trade.
In ancient china trading was very important because of its big population. Chinese people traded food,weapons,and items(like jewelry, fabric.etc)The jobs i listed are very important and most popular job.

But by the time of the Shang Dynasty, about 1800 BC, China was united into an empire and there was an emperor or empress who ruled over many smaller kings. Under these kings were a bunch of less powerful lords, and these lords ruled individual farmers. The lords collected taxes from the farmers, and passed some along to the kings, who passed some along to the emperor.

Dance was an important art form since the earliest Chinese dynasties. It reached its peak during the Tang Dynasty. Acrobatics was also a popular form of entertainment since at least the Qin Dynasty in 207 BC. Acrobatics and dance were often combined with other forms of entertainment such as juggling, martial arts, and music.
