Anthropologist need to be aware of bias opinion in a
published research. If a anthropologist publishes an article, which include their bias opinion, it may spark controversy.

Bias can effect communicating research results by
not comprehending information that does not comply with their opinion. It does not allow the researcher to expand the research because they are basing it around their bias opinion that readers may not agree with.

When George Warner interviewed Elly Kipgogel, Elly had to
chose between going against his tradition that he does not agree with or, obeying his tradition by forcing himself because 'he felt he had to do it.'

Why are these dilemmas?

This is an ethical dilemma because both available options are negative in Elly's situation. He was not comfortable with either option. His culture disapproved his other option. His other option would limit him to pursue his wishes if he does not comply with the Kalenjin tradition.

What is it about anthropological

Anthropologist can be lead to these ethical areas by
asking questions which may be answered by an interview. Like George Warner, he travelled to Iten, Kenya to
ask someone who is qualified, for instance, a Kalenjin, to answer his question.
