Is the outer shell of a computer. Serves mainly as a way to physically mount and contain all the actual components inside a computer like the motherboard, hard drive, etc.
Motherboard.
Is a printed circuit board contain the principal components of a computer or other device whith conectors into which other circuit boards can be slotted.
Central Processing Unit (CPU)
Is the brain of a computer, containing all the circuitry needed to process input, storedata and output results.
Random Access Memory (RAM)
Is the main memory in a computer. It is much faster to read from and write to than other kinds of storage, such as a hard disk drive.
Graphics card unit ( GPU)
A specialized processor originally designed to accelerate graphics rendering, can process many pieces of data simultaneously, making them useful for machine learning, video editing and gaming applications.
Sound card.
Is a peripheral device that attaches to the ISA or PCI slot on a motherboard to enable the computer to input, process, and deliver sound.
Mouse
Is a small, movable device that lets you control a range of things on a computer.
Keyboard.
Is one of the primary input devices used with a computer, and is the most basic way for the user to communicate.
Visual Display Unit (VDU)
Is a device that presents information, events or situations at home, at work, at in public places. A VDU may be responsable for temporary or permanent ergonomic problems depending on a number of factors related to the observer and the display.
Power Suply Unit (PSU)
Is a hardware device that converts AC electricity into DC electricity and then distributes it to the rest of the computer. On a standard desktop computer, the PSU is where the power board plugs into and usually has an 10 power switch on it.
Sound State Drive (SSD)
Is a new generation of storage device used in computers. SSD, store dara using flash-based memory, which is much faster than the traditional hard disk they've come to replace.
Hard Disk Drive (HDD).
Is a non- volatile data storage device. Non-volatile refers to storage devices that maintain stored data turned off. All computers need a storage device, and HDD are just one example of a type of storage device.
