A Canadian citizen who is 18+ years of age

May vote in elections

May compete for a job as a politician

Governments must have elections every 5yrs or less

Elected governments must meet at least once a year.

Mobility Rights

May live/work anywhere in Canada

Legal Rights

Everyone is innocent until proven Innocent

Everyone has the right to speedy trial.

Everyone has the right to apply for bai

Everyone has the right to know their crimes

Everyone has the right to seek a lawyer when arrested

All people have the right to express their opinions

All Rights and Freedoms should be respected and protected

Citizens are responsible to pay taxes

Citizens are responsible to be a witness in a trail and to speak the truth

Equality Rights

Everyone has the right to be treated fairly for many reasons, not for their race, background, sexual preference, religion, gender, age, or mental/ physical ability

Official Languages of Canada

Everyone has the right to speak/write to the federal government in English or French in Canada.

Minority Languages Education Rights.

Anyone may learn in English/French in certain situations.

Everyone should follow and respect the rules outlined in the Constitution as well as all laws

Political influencers should be viewed towards all people and in an unbiased fashion.

Everyone is responsible for their own actions

Citizens are responsible to serve on a jury

Everyone should respect each other
