Drugs of 5HT receptr

Certain medications target specific 5-HT (serotonin) receptors to treat various conditions. For instance, Olanzapine acts as a 5-HT 2a antagonist and is used as an antipsychotic. Cyproheptadine, which blocks HT2 receptors, is used for treating carcinoid and gastrointestinal tumors and also works for seasonal allergies due to its H1 blocking effects.
