Team/Sport
Taught all sporting skills by mother, father and family friends. Learning great team work and team appreciation. Giving a good outlook for team work in the future.
Team sports player. Played at many different levels, representing my town in state levels with great pride and attitude for the team game.
Team sports = Team work. Team work extremely important in nursing to give best quality results and outcomes for everyone.
Continued to play team sports to this day. Now teaching my own children and many others, the great way to work as a team for the best results. Great fun and lots of enjoyment in life.
Social
Caring for others, starting a young age. Continuing throughout my life and still now as a nurse. Supporting, assisting, teaching and helping recover.
School/Work/Sports - learning to socialise and communicate well with others at all times for a better time.
Respecting others choices, cultures and behaviours in the classroom, sport team, workplace and the community. Extremely important in nursing and also sporting cultures.
Great friendships at school and have continue through to adulthood. Continual love, friendship, support and help.
Family
Family consist of mother, father, brother and sister growing up. With Grandparents on both sides and Great Grandparents. Extremely important part of growing up. very supportive and loving environment growing up.
MY FAMILY NOW!! Married with 4 beautiful children (3 girls one little boy) of our own, and one older step daughter 24 years old. Family time, learning and growing together
Babysitting, looking after other peoples children. Qualified Professional Nanny and now qualified EN Nurse and continuing onto become RN Nurse with either pediatric nursing or midwife. My love for children and caring for them has always been a strong part of me.
Aunty, that l looked up to a lot for her nursing skills and her beautiful personality. She was a RN in the Children's Ward many years and eventually in-charge for another 30 years.
Work
Babysitting and caring from a 12 years old
Work -experience at the Bendigo Base Hospital in the Children's Ward, year 10. Learning to communicate with older and younger people to get the best result Very big reason for myself becoming a nurse today.
Completed High School, started University in Ballarat but deferred for a few years and never went back. I then completed Professional nanny and worked for a while but still really loved nursing. I went and completed my EN and then medication endorsement but still want more. hence, l am now attempting my RN again, but this time l will complete!
