I think its when you do something because you've seen other people do it or it is when you start do to an action because it is something biological, but it is like for example. You start having an addiction to something because it is biological to have that addiction. But don't think that it is really common.

Lab experiment
where accurate measurements are possible. The researcher decides where the experiment will take place, at what time, with which participants, in what circumstances and using a standardized procedure.

they are done everydya, the experimenter still manipulates the independent variable but in a real life setting
case study
The case studies are the in dept investigations of a single person, a group, comunity etc...
In psychology, case studies are often confined to the study of a particular individual.
psychometric tests
it is a way of measuring an individuals mental capabilities and behavioural style
its like a personality test
in this one i didnt see an exaple of people doing someone a psychometric test but i did see some people talking about how to pass those so im gonna put a video about that.

which aims to explain growth, change and consistency though the lifespan.
Forensic Psychology
I think that it is for solving like criminal stuff but you have to use the part of phsysicology to understand the criminal minds and thoughts.
Experimental Psychology
testing theories of human thoughts, feelings, actions, and beyond – any aspect of being human that involves the mind.
