The Natives (History Lesson)- Lost their land to the Europeans

• Villain rarely reaches goal/lives.
• Trickster almost always dies/doesn't reach goal.
• The innocent is split between not achieving goal/death and achieving goal/living.
• The hero almost always achieves goal or lives (depending on type).
• The mentor/motherly always achieves goal or lives (depending on type).

Buddy the Elf (Elf)- Naive, believes he is an Elf, finds his father and helps save Christmas.

Mother and her Baby in Passchendaele (Three Day Road)- hiding in abandoned building-rashly shot and killed by Elijah.

Society (On the Rainy River)-Pressuring people to fight in the war, even if they do not believe they should

Evil Stepmother (Cinderella)-Restricting Cinderella from her rights

Bob Ewell (To Kill a Mockingbird)- Racist and cruel, dies.

Elijah-Turns windigo and is killed by Xavier

Hamlet- Follows through with his belief that Cladius killed his father, King Hamlet, even when everyone is against him

Jannet Roddan (April Fools on Polaris)- Continues to climb the mountain, knowing that the challenges she faces make her stronger

Atticus Finch (To Kill a Mockingbird)- Follows what he believes is right, defends Tom Robinson, even when others think it is wrong because Tom is black

Rudolph-saves Christmas and gets to lead the sleigh

Cinderella-follows what she believes in, goes to the ball because it is her right, and the prince falls for her.

Xavier-always follows morals, is able to kill his best friend who turns windigo, is resurrected
