The company named IBM had a male engineer named Alan Shugart that created the floppy disk
The floppy disk was considered a revolutionary device throughout the history of computers for its portability, which provided a new and easy means of transporting data from computer. The floppy was invented by IBM engineers led by Alan Shugart.
it was invented in 1967.The first floppy drives used an 8-inch disk, which evolved into 5.25 inch disk that was used on the first IBM personal computer in August 1981.
Jack Kilby and Robert Noyce - Integrated Circuit - 1959 - Joshua
Joshua Pierro
John Kilby demonstrated the first working IC and applied for a patent on February 6th, 1959.
Robert Noyce, who worked at Fairchild Semiconductor recognized the limitations of germanium and creating his own chip fashioned from silicon.

In addition, the spread of the chips helped to bring advanced electronic devices to all parts of the world.
Alan Turing - Turing Machine - 1936
a Turing machine capable of simulating that algorithm's logic can be constructed.
A Turing machine is a mathematical model of computation that defines an abstract machine, which manipulates symbols on a strip of tape according to a table of rules.
The Turing machine was invented in 1936 by Alan Turing, who called it an a-machine (automatic machine).
Tabulator Machine - Herman Hollerith-1890
Andrew Sgambati
Invented by Herman Hollerith, the machine was developed to help process data for the 1890
it was the first machine designed to read a card and take in all the information from the card
Herman Hollerith was not apart of a companie when he invented the tabulator machine
