it changes their day to day lives
there are some people who dislike how technology is changing jobs, also resulting to loss
many fear that new technology will take away people's jobs
it first moves in as a toy
across north america, teens are mesmerized by those new games
Parents are starting to get concerned about these new games

Montreal Massacre (École Polytechnique Massacre)
it occurred on December 6, 1989
a man killed 14 women and then killed himself moments later
After the massacre, groups formed to raise awareness about violence against women
there is a remembrance day every December 6th
it took place in École Polytechnique
a 25 year old man entered the school carrying a gun and believed feminists ruined his life
It became the worst massacre in Canada

Baltej Singh Dillion and the RCMP
Dillion wants to be a member of the RCMP
Though Dhillon wants to wear his turban while on the force for religious reasons, there is a special hat called the broad brimmed hat you wear with a uniform on the force.
Even though there wasn't any guarantee he would be on the force, he was allowed to wear his turban during training
ad Dillion trains, He ended up receiving a ton of hate mail and threats, but still received support for a more diverse RCMP
In 1990, Canadians Charter of Rights and Freedoms
allowed Dillion to join the force in the end and wear his turban, making him the first Turban wearer as an officer
