Where they are?
The Wayuus are aborigines from the peninsula of La Guajira, on the Caribbean Sea.

Their classical organization based on unilineal kinship, governed by the female axis.
The members of the same clan are distinguished by identifying themselves with a common name and usually represented by an animal.
Value of the word
In the Wayúu culture, the value of the word is rooted in everyday life.
For example, if they agree to pay a debt to another person on a given day, it is an obligation to comply with that offer.

The principle of Wayúu normativity is that "life is sacred" and fragile
All beings of nature,

Daily activities
Festivities and rituals widely imply the use of traditional music.
The work of grazing is accompanied by music produced by flutes.
The native dance yocna or yonna (known as chicha maya), is used in celebrations related to the development of women and involves steps where she advances in defiance of the man, who recoils trying not to fall.
