Some stores put items that arealmost expired for sale so they can get rid of them. The people who buy those itmes have less time to store it and it won't be as fresh

Foods that are not in demand also sometimes have sales so that they can be bought. Sometimes food that is not in demand could mean that the comapny that makes it is known for something negative or could be a new comapny. This mean that the eater could eat more unhealthier or healthier
