Slavery was the model that determined the difference between those who had power and who did not.

In the year 1215, the English nobles, in the Magna Carta, limited the powers of the king and managed to participate in power political.
There were other demands, like:
-the separation of the State Church
-the right of free citizens to possess and inherit property
-protection against overcharging of taxes
-the right of widows to remarry
In America, the independence of the thirteen colonies of North America in 1776 it was constituted as another advance in the proclamation of rights.
