Preventing Cuts
Store Knives secretly from other utensils
Don't use Knives to open jars or lids
If Knife falls let it fall and back away

Open lids away from your body
Pull out the oven rack first
tie long hair back and roll up lose sleeves
Always act like a stove or pot is hot until proven otherwise

Preventing slips/falls
Clean any spills or mess in kitchen area
Keep cabinet doors closed when not in use
Grab a stool or ladder when reaching for high up things
Preventing Fires
Never walk away while cooking
Don't move something on fire
Clean any mess like grease on stove
Have a smoke detector near the kitchen
If clothes catch on fire, stop, drop and roll
If fire starts in oven: let it burn, in pot, put a lid on it and let it run out
Store oils and other flammables away from stove
Always know where your fire extinguisher is
