Easier to find supplies here than in individual teachers classrooms

Librarian can help locate and offer suggestions to enhance lessons

Inquiry learning

Not every teacher is comfortable going full inquiry

Allows students a place to questions and research

Can become a safe space to make errors

Place where students gather to learn and discover

The library has always been used as a resource hub, now with the Makerspace, they are transforming from knowledge downloading into creative discovery

Allows students to explore wide range of interest including construction, engineering,computer programming and science outside of the regular curriculum

A place for those kids who don't necessarily fit in elsewhere
