What type of instrument is the pan flute? If you already enjoy folk music, you most probably know that the pan flute is a folk instrument. The instrument is made of pipes of different lengths which are tied together. There are different types of pan flute, such as: the antara (used in the Andes mountains), the nai (used in Romania), the pai xiao (used in China) and the siku in Bolivia.

One of the most popular instruments in the world.
Mainly used for compositions, rehearsals, concerts, auditions in classical and jazz music. Was invented by Bartolomeo Cristofori. There are different types of pianos that have been invented: the player piano, the silent piano and digital piano.
