Release music, original or not so that I can build a repertoire and some base. My plan is to have someone videotape solo performances that I do, and I share them to a public place such as youtube, or instagram.
Things I may need to adjust?
I may not be able to video tape my own performances because of other cameras being setup. I may have to instead advertise performances online.
The camera that I currently can film with is not good enough, I may need to buy a better camera so that I can get better
I need to find more opportunities for to sing solo.
What information do you need too make your decision?
I need to have other band members to make a full song if I wanted to put out a real song.
I need to know whether or not I have access to good quality videos.

Building an online following for other reasons.
Do backup/ghost singing for other bands.
Pros and cons of alternative ideas.
Doing backup/ghost vocals is a good way to build references, and get to know others. The con is that background vocalists to not get much media attention meaning it's much harder for me to build an online following.
Building an online following like that is very similar to what I'd be doing if I went through with the first goal. Cons to this is that everything is working against me, amassing a following is harder than most people make it.
How will you put your decision into action?
I can start putting my plan into actions by putting up the videos I do have of me singing solo on youtube.
