The suffix causes a spelling change in the original word. In the table above, the -e ending of complicate and create disappears when the suffix -ion is added

Beaut y , dut y + -ful → beaut i ful, dut i ful ( -y cambia a i )

Heav y , de lectura y + -ness → Heav i Ness, leer i Ness (- Y cambios en i )
