Rand is a transportation company of mainly oil in the Kurdistan region to Iran and Turkey. Their business can be divided into three sectors: 1 - StorageRand's main income is through the storage of oil, and other goods that are imported from outside the KRG. Oil is inspected at the location in order to make sure that the quality is good and that the amount is what was stated on the contact. 2 - TransportationRand provides the owners of the vehicles with contracts for the transportation of oil. 3 - GarageEvery long vehicle is charged $100 a month to have the license to park at the garage. Since most verhicles need to be inspected, they need to park their vehicle at the garage.

The contact is signed by Rand, and by the other party to make sure that the amount stated is tranported to the location of the other party.

Vehicles that best fit the order are used to load the amount of oil and send to the location.

As soon as the oil reaches its destination, the salesman collects e money and sends it back Rand's main office.

Customers are mainly petrol stations who need weekly imports of gas and benzine. Rand provides them with storage and quick service because the storage is located in Sulaimani. Petrol station therefore don't need to store a large amount of benzine. This in turn reduces the monthly costs of the petrol station and increases potential customers for Rand's service.

Rand doesn't have a website. However, they were about to set up one in the near future.

Rand is mostly managed through the use of computers. Every vehicle has its own ID card which is recorded and could therefore be easily tracked. The computer is used to record the dates at which the vehicles arrive at the garage. This provides Rand with the ability to charge each vehicle according to the days the vehicle has been at the garage.

Microsoft excel is used to record the data.
