System

Humans

Muscular System

muscles

gives the body a shape, to
give the body strenght to move

Skeletal System

bones

Gives the body a shape,
support the body, protect
organs and soft areas of
body

Digestive System

mouth, gullet, stomach,
small and large intestine

break down food into simpler
substances and produce energy
for the body

Circulatory System

Heart, blood, blood vessels

the heart pumps the blood rich
in oxygen, the blood pass trought
the blood vessels to pass digested
food, oxygen to all parts of body

Respiratory System

Nose, Windpipe, Lungs

Take in Oxygen needed for the body and
removal of carbon dioxide, it also
works with the circulatory system so that
the oxygen could be pass to all parts of body

Plants

transport system

ploem

tubes that transport sugar
made in the leaves to other
parts of the plant

xylem

tubes that transport water
and mineral salts from the
roots to other parts of the
body

respiratory system

photosynthesis

it occurs in the day, it is a
process which plants make
their own food. the plant
take in carbon dioxide and
gives out oxygen

respiration

Plants take in oxygen from
the air to produce energy, carbon
dioxide is produced.this process
takes place all the time

stomata

exchange of gases through these
tiny openings.they are usually found
on the underside of the leaves, away
from direct sunlight, this is to prevent
water evaporating too fast through the
stomata

Many parts working
together to perform
a function

Animals

Fishes

respiratory system

mouth

takes in water
that contains oxygen

gills

oxygen enters blood,
carbon dioxide leaves

other animals

same as human
