a 25 year old man entered the school carrying a gun and believed feminists ruined his life

it occurred on December 6, 1989

it took place in École Polytechnique

a man killed 14 women and then killed himself moments later

After the massacre, groups formed to raise awareness about violence against women

there is a remembrance day every December 6th
