Increase security at borders so that less gets imported into the country
Tax payers money that goes to police forces to increase funds on drug busting

Since its a gateway drug, if it was illegal less people could use it meaning less people would have it as a gateway and less hard core drugs would be used.

Drug dealers would not be getting as much money so the money that might have been used for marijuana would be introduced into the economy in different ways then by drug dealing
