Collaborations Through the Arts
I think we should vote on stuff using the thumbs up and down emoticons. its visually easy
Budget
I think we may need to lower the amount of cameras to cut down the cost. maybe 14? that's still 2 per person in the group.
#8 Budget(Jeremy)
Our first step is to acquire 21 deposable cameras ( 3 for each member of the group) which cost between $6 and $8 a piece( priced at Wal-Mart, CVS and Target) and shoot 24 photos. Development for a single roll is approximately 3.15 a roll (Wal-Mart’s cost per photo 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10 is $0.13). In total, that’s between $396.90 and $529.20 for the purchase of cameras and development of film. Secondly, we’re to gather the materials needed for the gallery. Window panes can be purchased at our local Habitat for Humanity resale store for between $10- $40, depending on the size. We plan to purchase four window panes of varying sizes, so the exact cost of all four panes could vary between $40 and $160. The price and quantity of the re-barb needed for the sculptures has yet to be determined, so that is not yet factored into our overall budget costs. We’re in correspondence with a couple of different venues and have yet to find out if these locations are going to charge any kind of rental fee. We’re trying to avoid having to rent a gallery space if at all possible. In conclusion, our total costs for all materials (excluding re-barb and possible cost of venue rental) will range from $436.90 to $689.20. We would also like to save approximately $50 for contingency costs.
Outside sources of support include both Theatre Wesleyan for the use of their scene shop and Texas Winters Productions for lending us Flip cameras used to log our process for the documentary. To lower our costs were also going to ask people to donate used shoes as well as bring our own. We’ve yet to determine the exact amount of shoes we’re going to use, but we are estimating between 12 to 15.

Topic sentence, mission sentence
Gloria:
It is easier to pass judgement on a man than on an idea.
Working off Joshua and sarah:
It is easier to pass judgement on a man than on an idea. Our goal is to inspire tolerance and acceptance among our audiences, the man, through a series images, the idea.
Sarah & Joshua
Our mission is to evoke a possitive emotional response to a series of images in the hope that it sparks an idea of acceptance and tolerance.
elise: Our Mission is to bring to light the judgement of lives unseen, Our hope in this is to unveil the life behind the beggar, the Christian, the bag lady, and many others. In doing this we hope to begin a change in the world around us, even in the smallest of ways, to begin casting out the judgemnt that people of today are so quick to (hand out? give? foce?)
Evaluation Criteria and Process
#7 Evaluation Criteria and Process (Jeremy)
We have developed an evaluation form (Attached) that we as a group will complete weekly to monitor our progress in all major areas of this process. We’ve decided it would be better to do this assessment as a group as opposed to doing it individually because it allows us to discuss and address all issues together. Our rationale is that doing so will remind us of any shortcomings or obstacles we may discover and provide us with the time to arrive at a solution as a whole. We also plan to video record much of the process to create a documentary of the growth and development of the project that can then be provided to our funding organization(s) as record of the process.

I think we should use the emoticons for thumbs up and down to vote on stuff. and we should comment on things as we go to. I gave an example of how visually easy the thumbs up is
Agreed. I also like this statement the best. Is this what would go on our flyer/poster?
