HUMAN IMPACT

The environment faces multiple threats due to human activities. Deforestation is occurring at an astonishing rate, severely impacting oxygen levels, which are essential for human survival.

HUMAN IMPACT Damage To The Environment

Deforestation

Deforestation is the cutting down of two and a half football fields per second! We are depleating our life-giving forests at an alarming rate. And oxegen is one of the basic nessecities to humans without trees, we can't breathe and we die.

Human Carelessness and Laziness

Human nature is generally lazy, and almost of all of us are careless about how we treat the environment. if everyone thought the same way, pollution levels would be at breaking point for the environment.

Human Greed

Human kind is greedy, always wanting more and too much is never enough for us and it has turned us into careless thugs who disrespect the environment.

Overpopulation

Like it or not, our world is overpopulated and still growing, which means that we need more electricity and we'll burn more coal and just not have enough for everybody. And that's the downfall of our race.

Global Warming

Global warming is caused by gases like CO2 being emitted into the air and creates a blanket at the edge of where the atmospere and the stratosphere which absorbs and traps in heat from the sun, overheating the earth.

Burning Coal and Fossil Fuel

Things like coal is considered a non-renewable resource and burning coal for energy releases greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide into the atmospere.

Greenhouse Gases

Greenhouse gases are gases like methane (CH4), carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitrogens monoxide (2 NO). These are key contrbutors to global warming.

Pollution

Pollution is very unhealthy for the both environment and to us because, for example, just one person - drops a peace of plastic on the ground. It gets caught in an updraft and falls into a nearby creak and it drifts out to sea and gets swallowed by an endangered sea otter and it dies, eventually the species will goe extinct and the fish they eat will get over populated and overeat the small creatures they live on and the whole ecosystem is permanently damaged.
