Not living up to the stereotypes or replicating ypur parents

To enjoy life

Enjoy activities and have fun. Make your entire life the best memory you could possible do. Don't let culture you disagree with hold you back.

Mental health

Avoid lifetime commitments you never wanted

Saying no to the person you're expected to become.

Spouse, kids, etc

To experience failure, moral lessons, etc.

Experiencing your own faults leads to your own successes

Shape who you want to be.
