- Drug-resistant strains: Multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) and extensively drug-resistant tuberculosis (XDR-TB) are strains of tuberculosis that are resistant to multiple antibiotics. They are more difficult to treat and can be fatal. Prevention of drug-resistant strains includes ensuring proper use of antibiotics and ensuring patients complete their full course of treatment. - Stigma and discrimination: Stigma and discrimination against those with tuberculosis can result in social isolation, loss of employment, and difficulty accessing healthcare. Education campaigns can help reduce stigma and ensure that those with tuberculosis are able to access appropriate care and support.

Estas bacterias por general atacan a los pulmones, pero también pueden atacar a los riñones, la columna vertebral y el cerebro

Es una enfermedad bacterial que generalmente afecta a los pulmones, se transmite de persona a persona, se puede prevenir y curar dicha enfermedad.
