Comparison Between India and Pakistan

India's high power distance score shows a culture where authority, and respect for those in power are more in control . This has been shown in many aspects of Indian society, including the workplace, family life, and politics.

India's low individualism score of 24 shows a culture that prioritizes the needs of the group over individual work. Family ties are strong, and loyalty to the family and community are valued high. Cooperation and teamwork are emphasised in both personal and professional settings, reflecting a collectivist mindset.

India's medium high score of 56 in Long-Term motivation towards success reflects a culture that values hard work, perseverance, and long-term planning as pathways to success. Education is highly valued, and individuals are motivated to achieve their goals not only for personal enjoyment but also to strengthen the reputation of their family and community.

India's medium low uncertainty avoidance score reflects a culture that is generally more tolerant of change, and risk. People are more comfortable with uncertainty and are often willing to take risks and find innovative solutions to problems.

As the score implies there is a power inequality in Pakistan. But it is more of a power distributional problem where the elite class will not let the middle class grow. but in recent years there have been proest against this power distance.

According to the score, Pakistan values community rather than individuality. I believe that this is true for the most part but there are exceptions. There is definitely an emphasis on class status.

The score suggests that Pakistanis are not keen on uncertainty and generally follow the belief of "There can only be one truth and we have it". However most Pakistanis are open minded and accept change where possible. But there are many especially in the "lower class" people who cannot afford change.

As the score suggests Pakistan does not rate highly on Motivation. I personally disagree with this score and i think it should be reevaluated
