Holy week is the last week of lent and means that Easter is coming

Holy Thursday celebrates the Eucharist and the last supper

When Jesus gave his body and blood to the disciples

The body of Christ

40 Days And 40 Nights

Jesus walked alone for 40 days and 40 nights

Lent is a time of prayer and preparation for Easter

Easter Monday is the day after Easter Sunday, which commemorates Jesus' resurrection.

We give up something during lent because this represents Jesus journey of the 40 days and 40 nights us giving up something is to represents how the journey was difficult but Jesus kept going.

We remember Jesus' crucifixion and death

Jesus died on the cross for us and so that we could live

Also on good Friday we don't eat meat as one of our sacrifices to God
