Situation

At Fortinos during my coop. My supervisor frank asked me and Megan to work on a display together.

Task

Magen and I discussed how we should organize the display.

Action

Magen and I worked to arrange the pumpkin display.

Result

Frank inspected the display and told Megan and I that we did a good job.

Situation

I was having trouble fixing running video games on my computer.

Task

I would look things up on Google or YouTube to come up with a solution.

Action

I follow instructions in the video to make the game work.

Result

I was able to run my game again.

Situation

During the summer I was helping my neighbor to take care of the lawn and garden.

Task

I would plan out for the week the different tasks that I have to do. For example mowing the lawn and trimming the borders of the grass.

Action

Once a week I would figure out weather i would need to mow the lawn and trim the edges de[pending on how much the grass has grown.

Result

I would check in with my neighbor to make sure she was satisfied with the way i was taking care of her yard.

Situation

At shoppers drug mart during my coop.

Task

I was responsible for restocking the shelves with different items.

Action

The carts usually had items from different aisles and departments. I was told to do as much as I could do but I always made sure I finished the buggy I started with because i tried my best to do a good job. I wanted the manager to be happy with my work.

Result

I would be proud of myself for what I was able to accomplish.

Situation

Planning on hanging out with my friends on New Years Eve. But I was told I needed to go my cousin's house instead.

Task

i had to change my plans with my friends. I made a plan to change the time to hang out. I found out how late or how long I will be gone for so I can let my friends know.

Action

Explain why i have to make a change and make new arrangements with my friends.

Result

i was able to go to my cousin's and still hang out with my friends. In the future, I would try to plan ahead before making plans.

Situation

At Costco looking for a part time job. I went to Costco for a job interview.

Task

Preparing for the interview by practicing interview questions.

Action

I went to the interview and got asked some of the same questions that i have practiced.

Result

Even though I didn't get the job the interviewer told me some tips on how to improve for next time.

Situation

At Mohawk college doing the trends in technology. In trends I have learned on how to use Google Slides.

Task

I was learning on how Google Slides operates and works trough out the course.

Action

Completing a presentation for who is your favorite celebrity.

Result

After completing this class I have gotten a good mark for the assignments i have done. Now I feel more confrontable using google slides then PowerPoint.

Situation

I go for lots of walks everyday around my neighborhood and to get some fresh air.

Task

Planning out my walks for the day depending on the weather and I set up a routine for my walks.

Action

I go for walks regularly after each meal. But if it is raining or snowing out I will either make one of my walks longer if I have to skip one or I use the elliptical.

Result

I get excirsize and some fresh air regularly.

Situation

Doing checking in interviews with my professor Elisabeth.

Task

Preparing for the interview and trying to think of some questions to ask and planning possible answers.

Action

Talking to my professor and giving my thoughts on things and using communication tips that I learned in class.

Result

I can talk to my professor with and be less nervous to ask questions. My professor seems to understand what i'm trying to say.

Situation

Talking to my friends David and Jacob. If I have a problem or if something is wrong I would be honest with them and I won't lie on what the matter is. Also, if they told me something I would keep it to my self.

Task

Talking to my friends on how their day was and check in to see how they are doing.

Action

Being honest and truthful to my friends and not lying with what I would say. If they ask about my oppinion i would be honest with them while not their feelings.

Result

My friends can trust me because I am trustworthy and wouldn't tell anyone else what we talked about.
