PROYECT APROACH

A. Analyse

Investigation

If we are very clear about the problem we need to resolveand we know all the details, the rest of the process will be easier.^

Possible solutions^

We think of the different options that can resolve our problem

Chosen solution

We choose the best solution based on the criteria that we set as priorities. Then we we analysing the advantages and disadvantages of each.

B. Design

Design

We do drawings and diagrams or plans of our choosen solution.

Planning

We chose the materials, techniques and tools that we are going to need. Then, put the blocks of work in order.

C. Build

Building

We need to put our new theorical knowledge to work and use the tools and material we choo¡se earlier. Also, we need to remember the economise on materials.

Technical design documents

Drawings

Drawings show how the object we are going to uild will look.

List of materials and tools

Once we have designed our solution, its very important to list all the materials that we will need to built the project.

Budget

The budget is the document that we use to evaluate the financial cost of our solution.

Process sheet

We use this document to record the progress of the stages of our work each day.

Report

Include : Description of the prototype built , list of modifications made, final drawing of the solution, total cost of the project, enviromental impact of the solution created and your own thoughts about how the work went.

Types of Analysis

Morphological analysis

We analyse the shape, size, colour and basic physical characteristics of the object.

Functional analysis

We study how the object works, its utility, how it is used and the potentional risks of its parts.
