SA2 - the perceived gender stereotypes in the society has resulted in a perception that only one gender can work in some industries - women are discriminated in some countries due to stereotypes and prejudice against them - hence, some firms do not wish to hire females, leading to a higher proportion in males in these careers CA2 - there has been a reduction in these types of stereotypes in today's society due to help of organizations which helps to advocate for women's rights - this ensures that women is treated equally as men and employers are not biased towards males during the hiring process Rebuttal - however, such organizations are usually only beneficial for more developed countries as they are more willing to ensure equal rights in their society - for developing countries, they are more likely to care for their basic necessities above everything else - additionally, there are more developed countries than developing countries in the world, hence these organizations may be less effective in helping women - employers are mostly still biased against women

SA3 - the biological advantages of men over women, such as their physical strength causes jobs in the more physical demanding industries to better suit men - men are generally stronger than women as seen from research findings - women exhibits 40% less upper body strength and 33% less lower body strength than men CA3 - however, physical strength can be trained from young and does not only rely on the biological characteristics of each gender - additionally, some women may even overcome this disadvantage by working out more so that they are stronger and more masculine Rebuttal - although this may be true, when employers in physically demanding industries hire people, they would tend to hire males as they believe males are stronger - they tend not to take into consideration whether a female interviewee is stronger or not even though she may seem more masculine
