logical thinking

This can lead to making good life decisions, with having logical thinking among a group of people it can lead to a safe environment with your community.

my community we use a lot of logical thinking. We help one another out when it comes to assignments and other school related contacts. We want the best for each other and through logical thinking and decision-making it helps us as a community to become closer and also helps with our main purpose of being in college to gain higher education.

This is why my community has logos in it.

Values

This connects with my community because we all have some of the same values and are willing to share and tell others why we value these things. There is no judgement in my community.

If one person has a strong belief and is willing to trust everyone and share with us, then we all respect their decision and still respect them as a person.

Our values, like deeply held religious or moral convictions, often remain constant throughout our lives. These are close to our hearts. They are personal.

People will find friends who share common interests as them

Cross-sex friendships

Even though we are a cross sex friendship group we give emotional support and share many of the same activities.

My community contains two male and two female.

Cross-sex friendships are opposite genders being friends.

Peer Pressure

After observing my community I found out that there really isn't any peer pressure within my group.

With my community being my friend group there may feel like there is some what of a pressure there. This is because everyone wants to be involved and feel like they are truly part of the group.

Peer pressure is the direct influence on people by peers, or the effect on an individual who is encouraged and wants to follow their peers by changing their attitudes, values or behaviors to conform to those of the influencing group or individual.

Extroverts

In my community there are some who are more of an extrovert. They seem outgoing and willing to speak and share their voice.

Brooklynne and Matt are more of the extroverts in our group.

An extrovert is someone said to have a personality type that is social and outgoing. Extroverts enjoy being around other people and tend to focus on the outside world.

College friendships

When we have individuals who empathize with us, encourage us, and help us to have fun and relax we will be better prepared to face the challenges of higher education

Emerging studies suggest students who make friends and form relationships in college are more likely to be academically successful into ultimately graduate.

Friendships made at college are even more special because these are the friends that you get to live with and spend hours and hours with. They are the ones who help you become who you are as a person. They are the ones who are going to be there at the most difficult times.

Same-sex friendships

Same-sex friendship is a nonsexual and nonfamilial communal bond characterized by voluntary independence between two same-sex individuals.

Brooklynne is my roommate and honestly my best friend. We do everything together. There is never a time when aren't together. She is someone that I can truly trust and I know that she won't just leave me behind.

Behavior Expectations

There is an expectation to have trust in the friendships and being honest. There should be loyalty and no judgement.

Behavioral expectations to find the behaviors that people do and do not prefer in relationship partners in the functions to help individuals clarify and obtain relationship goals.

Personality

Everyone has there own personality. In my community because everyone is different it really brings us together in a way that we are all interested of what everyone has to say.

Personality is defined as the characteristic sets of behaviors, cognitions, and emotional patterns that evolve from biological and environmental factors.

Introverts

In my community there are some us who are introverts. We were shy when first hanging out with other people, but now the more comfortable we get the less shy we become.

Gavin and I are more of the introverts in our group

An introvert is often thought of as a quiet, reserved, and thoughtful individual. They don't seek out special attention or social engagements, as these events can leave introverts feeling exhausted and drained.
