The war has led countries and organizations to take sides, leading to tension even outside of Palestine and Israel.

Territorial disputes

Both sides claim rights to the land and this leads to never ending conflict and significantly high amounts of failed peace negotiations often causing more political distrust and security concerns

Economic

Destruction of infrastructure

Businesses, hospitals, roads, and schools have been destroyed from years of war making economic recovery near impossible for years to come

Unemployment and poverty

Job opportunities are limited, and movement in and out of the country is restricted. Any potential jobs are unstable due to conflict

Environmental

Air and water pollution

Biochemical warfare, waste mismanagement, and military conflict have led to significant pollution in the air and water specifically in Gaza and the West Bank.

Destruction of land and ecosystems

Bombings, airstrikes, and operations leave craters and nothing alive, damaging any potential places to live, killing wildlife inhabitants, and potential sources of food and water.

Religious tensions

The conflict fuels tensions between Jews, and Muslims. This leads to hate between the 2 groups and contributes to potential hate crimes towards these 2 ethnic groups even outside of Palestine and Israel
