Climate change is the heating of the planet. Over the last few years the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has increased greatly mostly because of the frequent use of fossil fuels.

Due to the information that I keep on tripping on, I seem to deny that Canada has a stance on the environment.

According to daily mail, 16 of the largest ships in the world create as much pollution as all of the cars in the world. Because of the power power they need to move they have colossal engines. These huge ships usually use as much power as a small power station

These ships use what is known as bunker fuel or heavy marine fuel and it leaves a big trail of lethal chemicals.These chemicals have been linked to breathing problems, inflammation and cancer.The ships are allowed to use 4.5 percent sulfer with is 4 500 times more than what a car is a lowed to use.But that's not all, super ships are allowed to emit 5 000 tons of sulfer a year.Their are 800million cars in the world, that means that 16 of the largest ships in the world emit more sulfer than all of the cars in the world

All of these deadly fuels move back down into the water and poison and kill the marine life, the marine life that we eat. Food poisoning

James Corvette, an authority on shipping emissions estimated that every year 65 000 people die in the world. 27 000 being in Europe alone. Britten being hit the hardest with about 2000 deaths from funnel fumes

Apparently Canada quit saying that it would have cost them 14 billion dollars o reach the goal.

The government has already taken action on two of Canada’s largest sources of GHG emissions: transportation and electricity. As a result of this action:Canada became the first major coal user to ban the construction of traditional coal-fired electricity generation units.In the first 21 years, the coal regulations are expected to result in a cumulative reduction in GHG emissions of about 214 megatonnes (Mt)—the equivalent of removing 2.6 million personal vehicles from the road per year over this period.2025 passenger vehicles and light trucks will emit about half as many GHGs as 2008 models.2025 vehicles would also consume up to 50 per cent less fuel than 2008 vehicles—leading to significant savings at the pump; and,GHG emissions from 2018 model-year heavy-duty vehicles would be reduced by up to 23 per cent.
