Advice based on experiences, studies, but is defers per parent

Biased Approach

Parents can have a biased opinion on their children based on their own experiences. To oppose what the teenagers think including habits, careers, and how they act later when they are an adult. This can be beneficial but does not truly allow the child to reach their full potential from parents shaping their outlook

Unbiased Approach

Having to teach them the fundamentals in life while supporting what the child wants by giving them freedom of mind in their lives. Granting a framework and allowing such freedom will represent the unbiased approach based off of experiences

Negative Biased Approach

Parents with traumatic experiences may teach a child based on bias in a negative way. This way can cause issues involving their own mental health and more of a burden on the child to make their own decisions which can go both ways.

Siblings

Share personal experiences, with situational advice

Can provide less or more support than parents.

More

Usually occurs when person is
closer to siblings and trusts them
more than parents

Less

This happens when the person is usually
closer to their parents than their siblings.

Depending on the closeness of siblings, they can be someone a person goes to for advice on certain things which they are unable to go to their parents for

Grandparents, cousins and other family

Limited support due to lack of communication and personal connections to them due to time spent with them. Depending on the family member, advice can be given to the 'parents level' with all the benefits and disadvantages included

With an educational background which can give promising professional advice, support in setting direction, and morale support in order to help with working with goals. The support granted from teachers is more on the academic level rather than the personal level but can be extended based on the teachers view

When it comes to help needed in more serious situations, teachers are able to provide guidance on what to do. Although they might not be able to solve it, they can refer to other sources/people who may.

The Cons of Teachers

Not common, but in some cases can pressure
students with teaching style

Behaviour can play a large role when affecting
a student with an issue
