Find/bid for work
-- Make sure you can do the job--Do not take a project that is of no interest-- Focus on the low paying jobs first from which you can gradually build up--Ask questions to know you are sure what the clients want before starting on the job/project -- You can even provide suggestions to the client
Proposal
-- Start with telling them how you've researched about the job and what you know -- Then introduce yourself briefly --Show how you will help them and what skills you will use --Try to use the expression "we" as frequently as possible --Never submit tailor made proposals/cover letters but a different one for each job requirement
Profile
--Write your profile from a client's perspective--Try to make it stand out and display thoseskills which are unique to you without boasting _ Highlight your key skills first -- Mention the important services you can provide. --Include samples/project of your work if you can with clear labels. _
Goals/deadlines
If you cannot meet the deadline do notsay yes to a client Get enough rest, free time and good sleep
Payment
It is a good idea to ask for 25 to 30 per cent of the payment upfront
