Richard wins the bet and therefore wins the chance to marry Louise who isn't really interested

Plot Line

Mike and Richard like to organize bets, in which the winner will be the one who guesses the name of the wine that will be taken and its year

During dinner strangely Richard looked very interested in Louise

When they agreed on the agreements of the bet, Richard proposes that his prize be the hand of Louise.

Everyone at the table was surprised and judged that request

Mike accepted the request since he was sure to have a very complicated wine to guess, regardless of whether his family totally disapproved of the game.

When the bet starts Richard strives to guess the name of the wine, its place of manufacture and its year. After several minutes Richard guesses the exact data

Louise began to cry inconsolably, her mother was bewildered, Mike was frustrated and disappointed and Richard perceived himself as the winner
