Students dress a lot differently than we did back in my day as a teenager. Students want the attention, and therefore dress inappropriately at times.

Athletics in public schools are at an all time high as far as popularity and expenses are concerned. High school athletics can now be seen online through streaming or sometimes even television. Didn't have this a few years ago.

Students are being bullied via social media and online,
rather than physically being bullied today.

Parents need to step into their children's lives and be aware of their use of social media. There's a lot of harm that can come from this modern technology.

The Common Core has provided a guide for students to have a better chance of academic success.
