Discrimination remains a prevalent social issue affecting various minority groups based on religion, race, and other characteristics. To combat this, education systems should incorporate lectures on different cultures and inform students about protective laws and procedures.
Discrimination is a social problem that affects social minorities that can be from their religion to skin color, so we must learn how to treat it. Schools could offer some lectures about other cultures as well as inform about the laws that protect them and their procedures. The government must have laws that protect minorities as well as the authorities should be impartial and fair in cases of discrimination. For example, in Mexico there is the "Federal Law to Prevent and Eliminate Discrimination" that was created in 2003 and its objective is prevent and eliminate all forms of discrimination that are exercised against any person. As a result, after the laws are created, the government must be rough to enforce them. However this is not always like the case of George Floyd who was killed by the police which could be a case of racial discrimination and is something for which many black people lives daily.
Finally, people should be informed about different cultures, ethnicities and laws to avoid more cases.
